Metal sculptures by W.C.Keen are all original “one of a kind” works of art. Each piece is unique and completely hand sculpted. Steel is the main medium used and it is welded, forged and bent into original designs. Bill’s wife, Laurette is a co-designer and is responsible for detailed finishing of the pieces. The sculptures are wall hangings or three dimensional forms and vary from realistic to very abstract.
“Most of our work is inspired by our love of nature. We try to capture the wind moving through the trees. This is important to us because it gives our work a sense of being alive rather than being an inanimate object. Although we do many types of sculptures, trees have become our trademark”.
